A Manfrotto 501PL-compatible quick-release baseplate for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K. It puts the BMPCC on the same 501 plate standard as most video fluid heads, so the camera drops onto a tripod and lifts back off for handheld without swapping hardware. This is a discontinued SmallRig item — what is on the shelf is what is available.
- 501PL-compatible: Slides into Manfrotto 501-standard fluid heads and any clone of that plate.
- BMPCC 4K / 6K fit: Shaped and located for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K body.
- Anti-twist location: Locating pins stop the camera pivoting on the mounting screw.
- 15mm rod compatible: Accepts a 15mm LWS rod clamp for follow focus and matte box builds.
- Discontinued: No longer in SmallRig production — remaining stock only.
