At the heart of the Sony ECM-G1 Vlogger Shotgun Microphone (ECMG1-SYU) is a large-diameter, 14.6mm mic. capsule, a key component that delivers remarkably clear and natural sound, optimized specifically for recording human voices. Employing a Super-cardioid directivity, this back electret condenser microphone excels at isolating your subject's voice, effectively minimizing unwanted background noise and focusing precisely on the sound you want to capture. Its broad frequency response of 50Hz to 20000Hz ensures full-bodied and detailed vocal reproduction. For outdoor shooting, an included wind screen offers trouble-free performance, guarding against disruptive wind noise.

The Sony ECM-G1 Vlogger Shotgun Microphone (ECMG1-SYU) offers unparalleled convenience through its Multi Interface Shoe compatibility with select Sony cameras. This innovative connection allows for direct digital audio transmission, eliminating the need for cables and external batteries, drawing power directly from the camera. For broader compatibility, a 3.5mm TRS recording cable is included, enabling connection to a wide range of cameras, smartphones, and audio recorders. This plug-and-play simplicity, coupled with its robust audio performance and compact dimensions (W 28.0mm X H 50.8mm X D 48.5mm), makes the ECM-G1 the ultimate portable microphone for elevating your content’s audio production quality.
