Zacuto Sony FX9 Recoil Pro

Zacuto built the Recoil Pro specifically to fix a balance problem with shoulder-mounting the Sony FX9: because the lens-to-camera balance point sits behind the shoulder in a standard shoulder rig, this Next Generation Recoil rig relocates focus, monitoring, and camera controls forward to create a lighter, shorter, properly balanced setup. The kit bundles the VCT Pro baseplate, the FX9 Trigger Grip, a LANC extension cable, and the Axis Mini for Sony FX9, and it requires adding a Zacuto EVF or the Sony FX9 LCD with Z-Finder to complete the build.

• VCT Pro baseplate: sliding top plate for quick camera removal or lens changes, curved shoulder pad, v-wedge tripod connector, and quick-release 15mm rod parts.
• FX9 Trigger Grip: single-handed 360° rotation via trigger release, with rosette mounts on both ends for the rig and for a servo zoom lens or camera grip.
• Axis Mini for Sony FX9: mounts a rosette-based EVF (like the Gratical HD) or the Sony monitor with adjustable positioning for shoulder or tripod shooting.
