Softron OnTheAir Video 3: Closed Captioning/Subtitles Option

The Softron OnTheAir Video 3 Closed Captioning/Subtitles Option adds CEA-708/CEA-608 closed captioning and OP47 subtitle output to the SDI signal from OnTheAir Video, covering both the US captioning standard and the OP47 format used mainly in Europe and Australia. It's an add-on option, not a standalone application, and OP47 output specifically requires an upgrade to OnTheAir Video 4 or later.

• Closed Captioning Output: supports CEA-708 and CEA-608 captions embedded in a QuickTime closed-captioning track, primarily for US broadcast.
• OP47 Subtitle Output: outputs an MXF-OP47 file with OP47 embedded, primarily used in Europe and Australia; requires OnTheAir Video 4 or later (a separate upgrade purchase from OnTheAir Video 3).
• Requires VANC-Capable Hardware: your output hardware must support VANC output for this option to function -- check Softron's help center for supported hardware.
• Fixed Frame Rate: clips must match the output settings' frame rate; mixed frame rates are not supported in a single output.
