Tiffen 49mm-55mm Step-Up Ring

A step-up ring that takes a 49mm lens thread up to 55mm, so one larger filter serves several lenses. Buying up to the biggest thread in your kit and stepping everything else up to it is far cheaper than owning the same ND in four diameters.

• 49mm to 55mm: Threads into a 49mm lens and accepts 55mm filters.
• Step UP, not down: Going up in size avoids the vignetting that step-down rings cause.
• Anodised aluminium: Black anodised finish so the ring does not reflect light into the frame.
• Slim profile: Minimal added stack height to keep wide lenses clear of vignetting.
• Note on lens caps: With a step-up ring fitted, the original lens cap will not attach — cap the filter instead.
