The MID49 Top Plate for the Canon C400 attaches to the top of the camera, providing 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes with ARRI accessory pins for building out a rig.
- ARRI and M4x20mm Threaded Holes: Includes an adapter for attaching Canon's original C400 top handle (ARRI 3/8-16 to Canon Striped Rosette / Canon Mic Mount).
- Doubles as a Mic Mount Point: When not using the handle adapter, it repositions on the Top Plate to provide mounting points for Canon's included microphone shock mount.
- Center ARCA Dovetail Clamp: Attaches the Rainbow Handle Kit, ARCA Top Handle, ARCA Top Plate, and Gimbal Adapter Plates (Freefly Mōvi Pro and DJI Ronin 2) for quick handheld-to-studio changes.
- Side 3/8-16 ARRI Accessory Mounts: Accepts a Cage NATO Side Arm (ARRI 3/8-16) for cage building.
- Additional Rosette Mounts Available: Extra ARRI 3/8-16 to Canon Striped Rosette / Mic Mounts are available separately if needed.
