Description
The VigilLink CAT Cable Digital Audio Extender (300m) sends optical and coaxial digital audio simultaneously over a single CAT 5e/6 cable, built for installers connecting an HDTV's audio output back to an amplifier or multi-room audio system. Its built-in DAC converts either digital signal to 2-channel analog stereo output, aimed at setups that need an analog input rather than a digital one. One-way POC lets the receiver power the transmitter over the same CAT cable, simplifying the run.
- 300m range at 48kHz (150m at 96kHz, 100m at 192kHz): Extends both optical and coaxial digital audio signals over a single CAT 5e/6 cable.
- Simultaneous optical and coaxial distribution: Carries both digital signal types at the same time over the same cable.
- Built-in DAC: Converts optical or coaxial digital audio into 2-channel analog stereo output (PCM only).
- Supports LPCM, DTS, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus: Passes these formats when used as a straight digital in/digital out extender.
- One-way POC power: Receiver powers the transmitter through the CAT cable, simplifying installation.
