The Rencher Industries Intersex Plate continues to be the most useful bit of kit for anyone working in camera department. Now with the XLR Power Adapter for Intersex Plate, the Intersex Plate can be used as a Gold Mount or V-Mount battery eliminator.
The XLR Power Adapter installs easily, requiring only two 1/4-20 screws (provided). The XLR Power Adapter requires an Intersex Plate V3 or later.
Many of the 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting points are still accessible with the XLR Power Adapter installed, including the corner 10-32 mounting points, which allows the user to stack Intersex Plates to create cages. 1/4-20 standoffs or spacers can also be used to mount equipment over the XLR Cable.
The XLR Power adapter works with standard and micro plates, as well as Gold Mount Plus plates. 3-pin and 4-pin XLR options allow for use with 24V cameras.*
*The XLR power adapter is completely passive and passes power through, unchanged. the 3-pin adapter should be used only if you're sure your device can accept 24V power through its battery plate.
All Rencher Industries products that use printed parts carry a 5-year warranty on the printed material. If your printed part warps, cracks, or fails for any reason, we will replace the defective printed part at no cost.
